Chrissie is an organizational development practitioner and illustrator. She has also studied Theory U and graphic recording through the Presencing Institute. Her interest in visual work is founded in an appreciation for deeper levels of listening, cultivating the mindsets necessary for transformative change, and for designing environments for people to be creative and do their best thinking.
She has a BA in Art History from Temple University, and MS in Arts Administration from Drexel University.
Prior to founding her graphic facilitation practice in 2015, Chrissie worked as a Program Officer at The Philadelphia Foundation, supporting the capacity-building and leadership efforts of over 200 nonprofits in the Greater Philadelphia region. In 2018 she collaborated with Jefferson Health Systems and Jefferson University CEO Dr. Steve Klasko to illustrate Bless this Mess: A Picture Story of Healthcare in America.
How do you re-generate? Sleeping, studying my dreams, journaling, being with my dog, Domino (in that order).
What do you hope never changes post-COVID? Almost never using my car…
What is your superpower? Chiming in with something meaningful from time to time.
What’s something interesting about you we wouldn’t otherwise know? Not consecutively, but lived in Rome, Italy for almost 2 years in my 20’s.
What is your favorite part of making transformational change in systems, organizations and people? The beginning. Creating the container for powerful conversations; with my Insyte partner colleagues and clients.
What’s one thing you’d want people to know about the Insyte Team? The Insyte team approach is probably not what you expect and is probably nothing like you’ve experienced with other consulting firms. They thoughtfully and artfully invite change at the individual, interpersonal and systems levels. Their work is truly transformative.
